Cricket Festival
On July 3rd, 2023, Oaklands Primary School welcomed Year 2 students from each of our four schools to participate in a game of Rapid-Fire Cricket.
All of the participants had a wonderful day; learning new knowledge and skills whilst having fun interacting with and competing against pupils from different schools. Thank you to all of the staff that enabled the event to be such a successful day.
On the day of the event, Ofsted were also inspecting Oaklands and mentioned in their inspection report: Pupils love the running track and wide range of sporting opportunities. They are thrilled to welcome schools from across the trust for competitions, such as the action-packed cricket festival that took place during the inspection.
